Granted I'm sure there's overlap between schools, but I'd love to see the number crunching if all those offers committed tomorrow.

Seeing as they allow tenn to sign 50 people a year. 185 scholarships make sense

There is so much more to the offer-commitment process than meets the eye. The behind the scenes tactics that some schools use are mind blowing, I'm sure. For instance, I'd love to know how many of those 185 guys Tennessee offers are takes for them.

I can kinda understand the approach to that (throw at all the high ranked players, plus ones you've really looked over).

This would bother me if I was a prospect of interest for the Tennessee staff. It takes a little importance out of an offer IMO.
