For me, I have to say Kramer Robertson. His defensive play made me say ohhhhhh damn a few times. You can just tell he is going to be a special player. Conner Hale at the plate was a strong second. Gonna be a great year.

Poche looked pretty damn sharp yesterday. I know it was Grambling, but he didn't look like a true freshman on the mound. Should be a really solid Sunday starter giving LSU a strong weekend rotation.

Kramer Robertson was impressive yesterday with the glove.

The starting pitchers did a good job keeping the opposing bats under control

Concerns after the weekend:

The LSU bats appear quite weak, possibly due to early season. Could also possibly be that LSU softball appears to have more power than the baseball team at this time.

Not impressed with this weekend:

Whoever had LSU traveling on a Saturday with Friday and Sunday games at The Box.

I'm here as well. I can't remember ever seeing someone so young with such strong fundamentals. We are damn lucky he's a tiger

Starting pitching was solid...Nola hitting 3 batters is not a concern, but a bit unusual. Bouman and Poche had good debuts.

Bullpen still left a lot to be desired.

The battle for 2nd base will be fun to watch...both Hale and Robertson had a strong weekend.

Bregman is Bregman.

Stevenson made solid contact and looks to have turned the corner offensively. Foster hasn't quite found his groove.

Really liked Civic...gut feeling is he will be an everyday player by the end of the season.

Very impressed with the fundamental side of this weekend. LSU executed on sacrifice bunts, and had a couple successful hit and runs. Defense was near perfect as well.

All in all, strong opening weekend.

KRob obviously although I did like Hale's bat more.
Gonna be fun to watch that development.

Scivique and Chinea bats, nice to see some guys with some freaking meat on their bones.

Stevenson, proud of that dude, I did not understand him in the lineup last year, almost a guaranteed out. This year, totally different story, great summer turnaround.

Starting pitching is going to be solid as a rock this year and Glenn didn't even throw this weekend.

He did well yesterday in 1 game vs Gram St.

It is quite a stretch to extrapolate that performance into possibly better than Nola.

I'm not impressed with Bregman anymore, that kid is just amazing. I liked what I seen out of Poche, Schuvique, Hale and KRob.
