Nick salta formation will be the new hahnville coach, good choice, worked wonders at east Jeff

Rumor Zachary narrowed to brett beard of Woodlawn & ken hilton from central but may reopen, wanted Sid Edwards or brewerton from Livonia

Left for more money and better working conditions. Simple as that. At Hahnville he'll have at least a dozen assitants and a booster club who will fund things he needs for the program.

Not positive but from what I've been hearing it will be around 80-90 K when all added up. A tenured teacher at a high school maxes out around $64K in St. Charles, add on the coaching stipends and whatever else they threw in to that.

At least now, only like 15% of the talent he could get will be recruited away from him instead of 85% when he was at EJ.

Very shortsighted hire. Coach Salt has made no secret that he wants to get back into a private school eventually. He is also bringing his OC with him and they are going to try and run the option at Hahnville. Have fun with that.

you realize how many HS champions or contenders run the option?

Agreed. Doesn't JT run the option from the vear formation at Curtis? Perfect high school offense bc if my kids are faster than yours, it's a great mismatch.

Curtis, WM, Acadiana all run the option.

The only way it works with that much success is if the entire program buys into that system.

West Monroe and the like have kids running the option from the time theyre sperm in their daddys sacks so its down to an art form by the time its high school level.

It also is important to have a high level defense. Its simple but its far different from other types of offenses so its hard to grasp like that.

We switched to the triple option my senior year and it was a hard transition to make, it was best for us because of how our talent was on out team but they went back to spread after that year.
