Also they all looked so much older. Compared to skinnier more baby faced guys now? Has the game changed to where beasterjack dudes cant survive on being to only be able to crush?

And I'm honestly not suggesting roids, I'm thinking with the bats changing being simply a beast isn't enough.

Being a huge power hitter is just a thing of the past with these bats and balls currently. Those guys would have half or less than half the home runs they had with these bats.

I remember when andro was legal. You could order it online like any other supplement.

Oh and the ball/bats.

Combine them both and you get the bs baseball ucla plays.

a few years ago i played golf with a former LSU asst coach that was there during those years....I had the pleasure of hearing some pretty cool stories of his time there. But to answer your question, there were more roids and PEDs floating thru that program than any of us could possibly imagine
It was pretty rampant all over College baseball, especially in the SEC and some Pac 10 schools.

Called Gorilla ball for a reason. Big boys, live ball, live bats, big swings, big results.

The Atkins diet is starting to show its results in baseball. Bring back the carbs. Who knows how small they get in the next generation with the war against glutton going right now.

The 2001 team was loaded with monsters. Todd Linden made me look small and I'm 6' 210lbs. Moore at first base was huge as was Zeph Zinsman. Even Mike Fontenot was stocky.

Jason Columbus was a big guy on that team. Weylin Guidry was a stocky pitcher.
