New Orleans making some kind of a move at the Feb. 20 trade deadline is believed to be a given, said one rival General Manager.

Buried in Pierre trade article.

I just have a bad feeling about trading Pierre. He can be a player similar to Isaiah Thomas in Sacramento. I hope we keep him.

We better keep him. Our two backup PGs are fringe NBA players at best,

Don't trade Pierre. Sure, his beak is different now, but give him some time.

What you did there, I saw it. I applaud you.

D League stars hardly pan out. Not saying he won't be good, but I wouldn't count on it.

I think it's implying we've been very active in talks and everyone thinks we do something. Not necessarily with Pierre.

D League star would be an improvement over Roberts and Rivers

The same Rivers that most of this board flipped their collective shite over when he was mentioned in trade talks?

And Roberts has played better of late. He'll never be a starting point guard in the league, but he's been thrown in there due to injuries. Tough spot for him.

You include Pierre in a trade if it helps improve cap flexibility, the SF position, or the C position.

Our back court is the least of our team's major concerns.

True. I would love to trade with Denver since they may be one of the teams that's rumored to be having trade talks with us. Chandler, McGee, and Faried are rumored to be on the trade block there. A couple of those players may have bad contracts and McGee is hurt though.

Their definition of successful is basically a guy who played a couple seasons in the league. If Pierre turns out as successful as Mike Wilks then it'll be much ado about nothing.

May as well get rid of D-League all together if one of the best prospects in recent memory barely rates as potential bench warmer in the eyes of some, right?

I mean, what's the point if the development league doesn't develop anyone to NBA level?

Honestly, don't see the harm in keeping him ourselves, but whatever. We'll do what we'll do. If he goes elsewhere, wish him luck and hope he doesn't return to us and drop 30 or something equally silly. But given the history of New Orleans players going to other teams, well...

Some do and some don't. Just because he's putting up crazy D-League numbers it doesn't mean it's automatically going to translate.

Don't give him away for nothing but if we can work him in a good deal, so be it. He ain't untouchable.

So you found the worst guy on the list and that's who you post about.
Maybe you don't know what successful means
The list included:
Rafer Alston, Louis Amundson, Chris Andersen, Kelenna Azubuike, Matt Barnes, Devin Brown, Will Bynum, Matt Carroll, Eddie Gill, Stephen Graham, Jason Hart, Chuck Hayes, Anthony Johnson, Dahntay Jones, Jamario Moon, Mikki Moore, Smush Parker, Bobby Simmons, Ime Udoka, Von Wafer, C. J. Watson, José Juan Barea, Brandon Bass, Andray Blatche, Avery Bradley, Aaron Brooks, Jordan Farmar, Shannon Brown, Marcin Gortat, Ramon Sessions, Jeremy Lin, Danny Green and Martell Webster

Mike WIlks doesn't belong in the conversation with just about all of them.
