Just started using Netflix to download series like House of Cards. How many GB am I going to use for a full series? Just increased my plan to 14 from 10. Will that be enough? If not are there any other more efficient options?

Do you not have a wired broadband connection? You can always go sit at Starbucks for a while and use their wifi.

No I use the Verizon jetpack for my house. Would something like DSL be a cheaper option?

sorry. starbucks deliberately throttles youtube and netflix to get you to go on your way and quit taking up space.

other pages load fine.

To adjust Netflix' playback settings, navigate to Your Account and click Playback Settings. This will allow you to reduce the amount of data you consume when playing movies and TV shows on Netflix.

There are 4 data usage settings to choose from:

Low (uses up to 0.3 GB per hour)
Medium (uses up to 0.7 GB per hour)
High (uses up to 1 GB per hour, up to 2.8 GB per hour if watching HD, or up to 4.7 GB per hour if watching 3D)
Auto (adjusts itself automatically to deliver the highest possible quality, based on your current internet connection speed)

We just switched to the jetpack about 6 months ago because att dsl sucked monkey balls. It would never work properly, tech called out twice, hours of phone calls logged with Customer Service.

My $40/mo Uverse comes with 250GB. I stream shite nearly 24/7 and I've never even used half of it.
