I am pondering the purchase of these books about guns.

Considering I will likely always have firearms (at least until my hands are cold and dead) I am thinking this is a smart purchase.

Does anyone have any experience with these books?

All of those for 69 bucks? Seems like a deal to me.

BTW - you ever get that helicopter landing beacon down safely?

I don't have any experience with them and with that said, I've never had much/any problem when taking a gun down and putting it back together. Well, I did have a bit of an issue on an AK that I completely took down and put back together but I knew where the pin went but getting the pin and the springs to line up was a pain in the arse.

Also, On shotguns I've never taken apart the trigger group because I've never felt it was necessary.

That's just me though. I'm pretty good about lining things in order when taking on apart.

Looks pretty sweet!

If I need something torn down entirely, I'll give you a shout.

Don I believe he had a pole company come out and lower the pole intact. Apparently it was not nearly as difficult as it was presented.

and I too am pretty handy and generally can tear anything apart and put it back together. but for 6 books it seems like a good idea.

I would suggest Jack O'Connor's "The Rifle Book" and his Shotgun book "The Complete Book of Rifles and Shotguns", as well. You will not be sorry.
