Is it to soon to tell if CJJ is a better recruiter than a coach?

I'm not a basketball expert but it appears that we have better talent than results are showing. Not a flame, just a question for the BB guru's.

He is a good recruiter. I think people over-react to the coaching. At some point you let the players play. I dont love some things about his coaching but I dont think he is a bad coach.

I thought he did a much better coaching job last year, we know he is a great recruiter but this year his coaching has been subpar

eta: I don't think he is bad, I think he needs to adjust better and show more fire.

Given what they've done in their current tenures, who would everyone want; larry brown or Jones? I like Jones, but I really wanted brown at the time. Jones sure is bringing in some great talent though.

Brown but that really isn't fair to CJJ because brown is a established great coach

It's clear there isn't much coaching going on with the defense. Bottom of the league last year and again this year. If we're not going to stop them from scoring, at least tell the players to stop fouling on that end.
