To be clear, they are reporting Harper, Smith and Greer.

Are they? If I recall, Harper's release didn't clear much. Not sure about Jabari.

Not surprised. I love Jabari and think he is a great Saint but I just don't see him being able to come back the same after that injury at that age. Sucks because I think he still had some left in the tank

Without the injury, I don't think he's cut.

According to that salary cap game I did, this got us 3.9m under the cap more or less.

Going back to the salary cap estimator, cutting those 3 alone makes a huge difference.

Wouldn't it be even more savings for Harper if we designate him as a June 1st cut?

cutting Greer, Harper, Vilma and Smith should easily put us well under the cap for now.

they were gone no matter how big or small their cap number is. Greer only bc of his serious injury though.

I think either Grubbs or Evans restructured their deal last year.

I want to say it was Grubbs.

maybe this year Evans will do so as well.

I guess I'd say my favorite Jabari Greer play was the interception vs. Houston in 2011.

he had under cut a route a few plays earlier and almost picked Schaub off.

Just before the snap, the crowd was so fricking loud man. I mean for a noon kickoff... frickING LOUD MAN!!!

anyway, he under cut Andre Johnson on his route and picked off a pass to help spark a furious 4th quarter rally by the Black and Gold
