I had someone buy me a caniac combo and could have sworn that it was a box combo. I opened up the box and it was full! I was stunned that tenders that REALLY had gotten smaller were filling the box up. I've heard a lot of rumblings, but any official word on this travesty?

Old box consisted of 5 fingers

Old caniac consisted of 7 fingers

New box has 4 fingers

New caniac has 6 fingers

ETA: physical box sizes haven't changed

correct. also they conveniently raised the price of the snack to only a few cents below the price of the box. thus most people will say "why order the snack when i can get more food for like 60 cents more" So the people that used to get the snack as it was cheaper, now get the box, and people will still get the snack and pay about $2 more for it.

I worked there years ago and the majority of people subbed it out.

Some guy was on here that owns a Hooter's. He said something about McDonald's buying all of the chicken wings in the country, driving the prices up. All that were left were the tiny ones. That might be why they added the extra after the complaints of small chicken.

he's wrong...chicken wing =/= chicken tender

where did he say they added an extra piece of chicken? He was commenting on the fact that people bitch about how the fingers have gotten smaller but his were a good size

Sorry for the confusion. I wasn't being sarcastic when I said that the "tenders REALLY were smaller" than before. They were smaller than the ones I used to get. The box was still full, however. That led me to believe that the box had also shrunk. I suppose not.

It was a minor revelation for me the first time I subbed it out. For years, it had never occurred to me such a thing was possible, but then a girl asked me one day if I wanted the slaw. I said, "WTF? It comes with it, right?" She replied, "Yeah, but you can substitute toast for it." Then I was like:
