Stainless Tumbling Your Brass

Not that my video didn't cover this already, but here's another example of the kind of work my tumbler did to this annealed, scratched, dirty, tarnished 5.56 brass.

Pretty much any good tumbler with stainless media will do that.

That's what I was saying. I'm comparing these results to the results of a vibratory tumbler, which pale in comparison.

Do you use the Thumler Tumbler with the lemon shine?

Yes. The lemishine has citric acid and water softener in it that works very well. I'm sure crystallized citric acid would work just as well.

How good of a job does the media do cleaning the primer pocket?

The stainless media does a fine job. Sometimes two of the pellets will get stuck in the primer hole.

A single piece will go through easily, two pieces will get hung up on small pistol brass.

It is. It'll only stick if two of them jam in there together. But it's rare and easy to push them out.
