Anyone recommend a nice course there with green fees from $50-$100? A few buddies and I are driving up to Grenada state park to golf/camp and wanna play a nice course on way there. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I played The Refuge around 5 years ago while passing through Jackson and really enjoyed it.

It's pretty affordable and back then it was in great shape. In the last 5 years, it may have fallen off though.

You may be better served driving up to Sardis and playing Mallard Point.

The Refuge used to be my go to course when I lived in Brandon....you better bring lots of balls, it can be a bitch, especially if you haven't played it before.

Also used to play Patrick Farms all the time LINK great course, more wide open.

Eagle Ridge used to be fun to play LINK

And then of course there is always Pearl Municipal

Also, just south of McComb is Quail Hollow LINK It used to be a really good course.

I haven't played any of these in years, so you might want to check them out first.

Isn't Sonny Guy the name of the veterans hospital too? On Woodrow Wilson across from Murrah?
