Where are my avatar and sig?

I know it was within limits.. It's Napoleon on St. Elba and I don't think I even had my sig up.

Is something wrong?

I thought the site automatically resized it down to 150x150 if it was bigger than that anyway? thats odd

ETA: Yeah, the source for mine is 156x156 but its auto scaled down to 150x150.

ETAA: Yeah, Lester is right. It just grinded on me for a couple minutes

It's always funny to see posters complain about the admins' privileges.

TD is a hierarchical organization. Admins and common posters are not equals therefore are not held to the same rules. Deal with it and fix your avi.

Lester, host company sent this email earlier today...might still be dealing with issues:
quote:

Dear Chicken -

Yesterday, at approximately 4:15 pm EST , our Operations Center received alerts indicating increase in latency and packet loss on our network. Within minutes, it was determined that an upstream provider had made some network changes that affected our entire network. Working with that vendor, the changes were rolled back at approx 4:35 but did not resolve the issue entirely. We proceeded to recycle some of our local equipment to resync everything and in the process of that, lost some recent settings within our equipment. That caused addtional downtime as we had to reconfigure some local equipment. The majority of everything was back 100% by approx 5:05 but additional downtime may have been seen on some devices. This longer duration was driven by the fact that while all servers were operational, many individual services (coldfusion, web servers, mail services etc) had to be manually restarted.

We understand how frustrating downtime can be and regret the disruption of your service.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

It's 10 pixels too big for both width and height. So it's actually 100 pixels too big.

Did I imply you didn't know it was an admin?

It was pretty obvious you were trying to be cute by calling out his avi to try and make a point. I proved your point sucked.

cute?

I'm pointing out BS. People get in crap for avatars all the time, when some people blatantly get around the requirements. Fair for one fair for all. The poster whose avatar I picked is not marked as an admin, how am I to know?

Somewhere two people 20 years younger than you are hooking up from this site, shouldn't you be getting into their business?

and you bitched too when your avi went down.... So I don't want to hear it.
