How did the Mama Della's makeover go?

And did you heathens who want abombinations for toppings on your pizza get your way? I'm not really sure BR deserves a pizza place like Mama Della's really but I want to be able to get a decent pie when I am in town.

Place looks good inside, but the owner is still an angry fuk. We went on a Sat night and the menu was half available and that old fart was arguing with his employee. Garlic knots are gone, but the food wasnt the problem anyway. Place will be closed this year.

I have met and talked to the owner several times and he is a great guy. Baton Rouge doesn't know what it has with him and it pisses him off and rightly so.

First rule of business is to conform to your target customer. You can't expect them to conform to your tastes. I've never been but it sounds like the guy is just an a-hole and doesn't deserve to own a successful restaurant if he continues to act that way

It's a New York style pizzeria. If you want the same old same old then go somewhere else. He's not going to make a pizza with some of the stupid shite people get elsewhere nor should he. That's not real pizza.
