Why Do Folks Try To Convert Someone To Their Religion?

Well Christians haven't done this in a long while so I am assuming you are asking about Muslims and Mormons?

The Jews don't recognize Jesus. He is the one who is said to have given the command, "now go forth, and multiply."
Sometimes that's taken to a zealotous level, ie. the crusades, the inquisition, etc.
