"A Tennessee couple faces murder charges for allegedly punishing the man's 5-year-old daughter by making her gulp excessive amounts of water and grape soda, leading to her death, authorities said.
Alexa Linboom was forced to guzzle the fluids after she took "one or two grape drinks" that belonged to her stepmother, District Attorney Berkley Bell told CNN affiliate WJHL.
"She was allegedly force-fed so much liquid that it caused the sodium level in her body to go down and caused her brain to swell," he said.
In addition to drinking more than 2 liters of fluids in about two hours, she also suffered other forms of punishment, Bell told the affiliate. He did not get into specifics."

Child abusers simply should be taken and publicly executed.

It's times like this when I wish the Bastard of Bolton was a real person so we could give pieces of shite like this to him.

This is why I support the death penalty.

I have a friend/police officer that is on a special task force to catch these 'humans'. He can tell you stories that will make you shrivel.

If anyone's interested he's giving a talk to parents next weekend in the Mandeville area.

i don't think this partcular case is as bad as it sounds.

its like making a kid smoke a pack of cigs if you catch him smoking one, you dont want to kill them just make them sick as a form of punishment and to keep them from smoking in the future.

i highly doubt the parents expected anything like death to happen from drinking grape soda.

ETA: 1st Degree Murder? that seems very excessive.

Someone I worked for, sad to say, went to jail for seven years for child molestation. Of his own daughter.

He got out of prison last June. In September, he looked me up and requested to join my network on LinkedIn. I accepted just so I could send him a message:

"DIAF scumbag."

I then deleted him from my network. I felt slimed just from seeing his name and picture.

Scruffy agrees.

There are certain acts committed by humans that deserve death. These individuals should be erased from existence.

Now, the question is who should execute them. Scruffy isn't much of a fan of state sponsored executions.

Scruffy would like to think he would pull the trigger if given the chance.

Yep. For the worst of scum, I propose a Reek program. Think the Boston Bomber would make a fine test subject.

I'm a advocate of firing squads being pulled from the citizenry sort of like jury duty. With the option to opt out of course.

Yet here in Louisiana we are agonizing over the possibility of a child murderer/torturer suffering for a little while after he is injected at his execution.

They should auction off the right to kill these dickholes. I would definitely drop some serious cash to eliminate a few of these vermin. Especially if I got to choose the method.

BS. You'd wet yourself if you had to take someone out in cold blood.

Wanna bet? Not that we'd ever get the chance to prove it one way or the other, but we can hope.

Well, that is a possibility. Scruffy has never been in a situation where taking a life was warranted.

Scruffy is of the mindset that taking a life for the betterment of humanity isn't a bad thing, but that brings up the question of who determines that the death is a positive?

Scruffy appoints himself to make that decision.

As Scruffy matriculates through his medical training, Scruffy will most likely encounter much death and suffering. Scruffy will likely expedite some people's demise albeit unintentionally. Eventually, Scruffy will become desensitized to death and would easily be able to extinguish someone's flame if the situation justified the action. As an older version of Scruffy, I can attest to this and have no doubt I could run the pain train on these mf'ers and enjoy a sandwich and a beer while doing it.
