Last year I decided to embark into the realm of turkey hunting, needless to say it's become a complete obsession... Any recommendations on diaphragm calls... I have been using or practicing with Woodhaven calls since I started, but I would like to expand my horizon... Thanks

Yeah I keep mine in the butter tray in the fridge, which the wife hates... I've been working diligently with the mouth calls but trying to purr with one seems to not work well with me...

Sounds great to me. I never could get consistently good sounds out of a diaphragm. The way they sit in my mouth has me spitting all over the place. I tried a few different frames and finally just gave up on it. I'll stick with my slates...

everal years back, I too decided that I would make the switch to diaphragm...so I just bought one. Over the next day, I gagged so much trying to use that damn thing that my stomach was actually sore...

I threw it in the trash and kept using my old calls...
