In one well known account, his wife sent him to shoot a chicken-hawk that was bothering the birds around their home. Then he went missing for almost two years, and upon his return, when asked what happened, he gave the laconic answer: “That hawk just kept flying!”
Bonus: Name that outdoorsman

maybe before i found the mrs.
me and her talk about leaving all the time though. the keys, seattle, somewhere in alaska...
it's tough to leave a good job. where i'm at now, if i left i would have a long climb back to get to a similar situation. i get paid well and i only work 40/wk. maybe in a few years i would have more ability to leave and come back to a similar position without too much trouble. it's tough though. i'm living my life NOW; i don't want to wait until i am retired to do what i want. i just don't know how bad i want it when i only work 40 and i can get outdoors whenever else i want to.

This is my situation. Great job with a regional company and a small business that couldn't just be moved will really tie you down

Read the book on him. It's like reading about Chuck Norris.

Doesn't sound like much of a problem to me.
