Wow. How inept is the GOP? They haven't even tried to get Panetta in to testify. And he is the key guy to the whole thing. Un freaking believable.

I haven't seen the interview ,but I would love to know what they are trying to get Panetta to testify for.

General Hamm got the call, he told Panetta that night right before they went into the White House to tell Obama. Obama knew everything that night. He lied to the nation. His whole Chicago corrupt staff lied about it. I never thought it was Hillary Clinton, it was Obama all along. That's the big secret being kept in this whole time.

I watched it, and was fricking pissed that Panetta hasn't even been placed under oath yet. Although the WH has attempted to block individuals from testifying about Benghazi in the past.
I do like that Oreilly took him to task about it though.

Chaffetz serves on the House oversight committee investigating Benghazi. Oreilly asked him why they haven't tried to get Panetta in to testify. Chaffetz had no answer and sounded just as evasive as Obama last Sunday. Pathetic.

Behind closed doors, they are all in it together.

Just realized I didn't answer your question Been a long day.
Reason why Panetta is important - Ham told Panetta it was a terror attack that night. Panetta went in to talk to Obama right after that. If Panetta testifies that he told Obama it was a planned terrorist attack, this story will explode.

General Ham did not go to the White House that afternoon with Secretary Panetta.
General Dempsey did.

The problem is much deeper than government officials, who are predictable in their efforts at self preservation.
The ELECTORATE is the problem.

I honestly don't have any idea why he wouldn't at least ask Panetta. I see no reason why he would want to cover for Obama or Clinton. A Republican should be licking his chops for a chance to stick it to both of them considering how long its has been in the news. He can't be that incompetent. Does he know something we don't know?

Partially. If the MSM would report the news equally on both sides and aggressively attack the corruption in D.C. then people would start to wake up.

Saw it. Panetta currently scared shitless and looking for drones.

For the record, Secretary Panetta did testify about that 9-11-12 White House visit in testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee exactly one year ago, along with General Dempsey. They testified together, just as they went to the White House and discussed the attack with Obama together.
O'Reilly was not even aware that Dempsey was present in that meeting the entire time right alongside Panetta.

Now I want to watch the interview. Did both O'Reilly and Chaffetz forget that he was interviewed a year ago?

General Ham told General Dempsey and Secy. Panetta at the Pentagon that it was a terrorist attack, according to Ham.
What is being discussed is whether Panetta and/or Dempsey repeated that information when they met with Obama at the White House for 30 minutes at 5 PM Eastern time (one hour and 40 minutes after the attack began) on Sept. 11th.
Dempsey could answer the question just as easily as Panetta can.
Neither man was asked that specific question when they testified about their activities on 9-11-12 before the Senate Armed Services Committee one year ago. Several senators grilled them hard, but at that time the question of whether they knew it was a terrorist attack had not yet been raised in the media.
By the way, both the Secretary of State and the Joint Chief of Staff both left the White House at 5:30 PM and returned to the Pentagon together.
Throughout the rest of the entire night, NEITHER MAN HAD ANY CONTACT WITH THE PRESIDENT AND COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF.
THAT is stunning...

Would not surprise me if O'Reilly had no clue about it.
Chaffetz would have been aware that the Senate got an "audience" with Panetta and Dempsey, but that his own House committee has not.

My theory is Speaker boehner was briefed on some covert CIA operation running out of there before the shite hit the fan. Such an operation was a big no-no according to the UN, thus the repubs won't investigate anything. The irony is if Bush was running such operation the media, law profs, and congress would be demanding impeachment for breaking international law. Yet, its CYA for everybody.

There is absolutely nothing that supports that opinion, with regard to Boehner.
