A work buddy played for Wisco and we couldn't find one to make a bet.

I agree, but we want some guidance here. He won't bet me straight up, but claims Wisconsin is all-around better. He doesn't understand how that is contradicting.

I'd give Wisky 5.5. I think LSU is prob more than 7 better than Wisky, so I say go for it at that line

There's always ridiculously early lines released that no house lets you bet yet.

I just wanted some sort of guidance here from people who do this for a living.

I figured it would be about 3-5 at game times, but I'm no expert.

I'd say 2.5-4.5. Total guess. Personally, I wouldnt give him more than 3. This team was pretty good last year and have almost everyone back. Im not sure if they had 1 Sr. starter last year.
LSU better come to play. Wisconsin is not TCU or Iowa.

The Golden Nugget does not release their early lines until June. There is no way you are going to get anything accurate in February. I would tend to think it is going to be around 4.5-5 when they do come out.

No line yet. But Wisc was a opened a 2.5 point favorite over SC. That was a very good highly ranked SC team with an senior QB. LSU will be breaking in a new QB. And I have not done any research on Wisky, but I think there QB comes back. So if I had to guess I think it will open as a pickem line. But I could see Wisky opening as the favorite. It all depends on how many players they lost. If you do the research and figure out how many starters they lose. I could give you a more accurate line.

Wisconsin will not be a favorite in Houston. It may be PK, i dont think so but its possible. They do have almost every one coming back. Where we return 5/7 respectively. I think the OP was trying not to give points, there was no way he was going to get points from the sound of it.

The Badgers lost almost all of their front seven on defense.

My bad u are correct. I was looking at an updated depth chart for next year. They lost some on offense as well.

I didn't think Wisky would be favored unless they returned something high like 18 starters. If they lose over half their D and some offense like you said I think it will open from 0-3. Wisky gets a lot of respect from Vegas. Amazing Vegas had them favored over SC coming off a Penn st lost.

Looks like the Badgers will be breaking in a new RB coach as well...

Amid the usual optimism of national signing day, Wisconsin got a bit of jarring news on Wednesday: running backs coach Thomas Hammock is leaving for the same job with the NFL's Baltimore Ravens.

Why not just flip a forking coin? I never understood making bets like this following the betting line. Bets between friends is about which team is going to win the freaking game. How can your team win 27-24 but you lose the bet? What does he even say after it is over. "

Haha you thought LSU would kick our arse but the joke is on you we kept it close!"

Do you hang your head in shame at this point? point=stupid
