Excellent article, and very well written.
This family is full of class and integrity. Can't measure that in stars, but the tigers sure did get their share and more

A lot of parents could learn from the way Wildman handled his son's recruitment. Usually, I don't think it's a great idea for parents to post on here, but he did so in the right way. He took pride in his son's achievements without coming across as overbearing or arrogant. He never pushed Garrett and let him come to his own decision.

must have been saban, he's always guilt tripping kids about something. him being too fraile to man up to wildman makes sense too.

Seems like the kids with strong personalities and from good families tend to push back harder on Saban than others. I think this is telling.... Telling they can smell as the BS he's putting out there

That's fricked up. It pisses me off. I can't imagine how much it would piss me off if I were his father.
I've always got the impression that LSU handles itself better than most on the recruiting trail. I really have no idea if that's the case. But, I can say that a staff that is honest, consistent, and polite can absolutely be an advantage over what is out there right now.

Sounds like a great family. I enjoyed reading that. I very much believe I would do almost exactly the same things Mr. Brumfield did with regards to helping his son make the best decision.

Awesome...The coach he is referring to had to be from Bama. Garrett sounds like a very poised young man. Glad he chose to stay home.

That is messed up. The NCAA compliance should enforce rules to protect these kids. The coach should have been able to be reported and been forced to take unpaid leave or fired.
This kind of bullshite and the lies urban/ manipulations of kiffin should be penalty worthy IMO

Garrett, my favorite recruit. Will be following his career from afar. A fan that doesn't try to bother him.
Now Paul, I'd definitely like to meet. Sounds like a dad I should model myself after. Can only hope my son grows up to be a man of character like Garrett.
