Mike Scarborough said that Bama and some other SEC team has recruited 13 or 14 offensive linemen in the last 3 years. He also said that LSU has recruited 7 in that time. Do you think this is a reason Stud was fired?

Could be.
The small number of OLinemen is a real issue. What I don't understand is why they didn't get a 3 star tackle or guard just for depth purposes. Schools like Troy and La Tech can have quality offensive linemen. Just getting one or two guys like that makes sense instead of only recruiting 2.

Monroe is why Stud was fired.

The O-Line depth will be addressed in this next class.

To me that was one big reason. Top tier OL don't see many kids getting drafted in the early rounds like they do for BAMA and aTm.

Hoping Collins changes this trend

Don't know, I counted 10 during the period from 2012-2014. Keeping in mind that we lost 1 (Edinburgh) at the end of the season.
Will Clapp (2014)
Garrett Brumfield (2014)
Ethan Pocic (2013)
Josh Boutte (2013)
Andy Dodd (2013)
Karl Malone,Jr. (2013)
Fehoko Fanaika (2013)
Vadal Alexander (2012)
Derek Edinburgh (2012)
Jerald Hawkins (2012)

When was the last time LSU had an offensive lineman drafted in the first two rounds of the NFL draft?
Note: With Grimes here now, I look for that trend to change. Moreover, I think Collins will be a 1st round pick in the 2015 draft.

Once again Scab is wrong. LSU signed 10 + a long snapper in the last 3 classes and Alabama has signed 11 + a long snapper in the same period. He is conveniently counting Brandon Hill in both 2012 and 2013 Additionally, 6 of the 12 bama signees were in the past recruiting cycle.
ETA: one of which Caleb Gulledge is no longer on the team.
