Looks like the Mandarin may return for "The Avengers: Age of Ultron"

Scroll down once you watch this to discuss it
Well, we apparently didn't get to the Mandarin at all in the last film judging from that clip. So who the hell was Guy Pierce in that film? I am so confused. Iron Man 3 is now completely pointless and they just gave us 2 basically nameless non-canonical villains apparently.
I'm guessing they're saving the actual Mandarin for the next Avengers film "The Age of Ultron". Hopefully they do what they should have done in the first place and cast Chow Yun Fat in the role.

I haven't seen the clip and refuse to because well they fricked up the character all together, but IM3 was based off of the Extremis story in the 4th Vol. of Iron Man back in 05&06.

My point was apparently the film had really nothing to do with the Mandarin.

I liked it. That 13 minutes was better than Iron Man 3.

13 minutes of monkeys throwing their own feces would be better than Iron Man 3

The Mandarin plot in IM3 was such a fricking waste of time and a huge letdown.

I'm guessing when Whedon saw fully what they did, he said "frick that noise, that's the most insulting depiction of an archnemesis ever. If they did it once in this universe where he's a fake, we can do it twice. I'll show you clowns how it's done."

Okay, now Im interested. The mandarin is actually a real villain. And I felt sorry for his black bodyguard. Are there any Marvel short films. I love when they reference other villains. And is abomination gonna come back?

He had a small mention in tonight's episode of Marvel Agents of Shield.
It was not a spoiler or anything.

Whedon isn't that great. Nolan and Synder can do better villains.

I see no proof that Snyder can do this. Zod was ok, Ozymandias wasn't his, and Xerxes was the biggest flaming Queen to have ever entered the world of film.

And Xerxes also scissored with Mrs. Garrison

I mean, he wasn't bad, he just wasn't great and certainly pails in comparison to Terence Stamp's portrayal.
