xbox one cod ghosts questions

Ive played many of the cod games online and have been very good at them. I am having alot of trouble getting better at ghosts for some reason. Its been a few years since I have played so its possible I just need more practice, but am I missing out on there being an auto aim or something? for one, with all of these fancy scopes and shite most people are just sitting back and sniping. regardless it just seems like when I approach someone they always beat me to the punch. I dont think it is lag because I have a solid connection 30mb/5mb.

I cant seem to get much better either. Im used to at least having a 2.5 kd in games but stay at around 1.15 in ghost.
I think i usually run with the remmington with a red dot and silencer. Scavenger,quickdraw,hardline,readyup,the faster reloding one. And sometimes a thowing knife with no tatical. It works fairly well, i dont know how to do better.
A friend i usually play with runs about the same thing and just dominates. I think he has around a 3.0

Basically, IW and Treyarch decided to make the past couple call of duty's an "everyone gets a trophy" type game.
They don't want the good players to rise to the top, they built ghost spawn systems to force a lot of shooting enemies in the back, and getting shot in the back. This makes the game really easy for everyone to go 1:1 and really hard for the good players to dominate.
I was at least in the 90 percentile in cod4, Mw2, BO and mw3. After that I could never I could never get a read on the random arse FFA type spawns.
And PS don't be such a K/D whore, play some objective and you might have a little more fun.

I used to rape some motherfrickers run and gunning with a ppsh in cod2.
seems like with all the thermal scope bullshite now everyone just sits back and snipes each other, especially since they put so many players in the games now. Ive never been a sniping player.

Connection speed doesn't really matter, it's dumbed down anyway.
For Black Ops I, MW3 and half of Black Ops II i had 30 mb d/l, 10 mb u/l. Then i got DSL 3 mb dl 0.5 u/l and it's exactly the same.
