We’re putting someone up there for 12 and a half minutes in front of the largest audience that any television program garners in the United States. It’s a pretty good deal. It’s the famous win-win for both parties.

I'm sure they're getting more than their time's worth in exposure.

Not directly Heady...

I'm guessing the bump he gets in the exposure is worth more than a paycheck, but I bet they paid his travel and accommodations and he prob got to watch the game for free!

I thought this was normal for SB halftime show?

You get to perform 3 or so songs in front of the largest TV audience ever, and get to watch the game for free

Who wouldn't want to do that for free?

I was not a big Bruno Mars fan, and still am not one, but I've got to give the kid props he fricking killed it with his performance.

Not into his music, but that kid was born to perform. He is definitely somebody I would classify as an entertainer and not just a singer or artist.

In all honesty I had no idea what Bruno Mars looked like or what his music was about. I honestly thought he was some scrawny white guy. It sounds like a good trade off to me.

The real question is how much did somebody pay to get him on the show

I just don't dig his music. I did admit he is one helluva performer.

Kafka, I'd estimate I understand maybe 10% of your posts

Maybe even less than that

Yea, that performance was the only halfway decent thing I watched for the 4 hours that abortion of a game dragged on

I will certainly never listen to his music again, but it was an entertaining 12 minutes

No halftime entertainer has been paid for performance.

Gratis.

He first got into the scene when Travie McCoy put him on his single "Billionaire".

Bruno Mars reminds a lot of the king himself. I think if Hollywood doesn't corrupt him like they do with every singer, then he has a bright and promising future. God bless the kid.
