My wife (no pics) and I are going the first weekend in May for a conference. I think we settled on seeing Love. Is there any way to get discount tickets?

TIA

Spend a bunch in the Casino and make them hook you up with freebies

Depends on the time of year. With Cirque shows they often run specials on certain months. Sign up for their club.

There are a lot of those wait in line and get same day ticket places in Vegas. But I have never found a good deal at those places I couldnt beat searching on the internet in advance.

Current offers for LOVE

The Beatles LOVE Winter Offer

$55 tickets available for Category D, Regular Price $104.

$80 tickets available for Category C, Regular Price $130.

$105 tickets available for Category B, Regular Price $155.

Tickets will be available for pick up at the LOVE Box Office

Offer valid for select LOVE performances through March 31, 2014.

Oh damn missed the May travel date listed

Obviously comps are the best way to go... but that requires you to have been there before or at least a few days prior to blow a bunch of money. Even then, nothing is guaranteed if they sell out!

I have a nice hookup at Mirage and I will actually be there that week. We are going to see Kevin James and Ray Romano's show (doing stand up on stage together) on that Friday May 9th. They have another show on May 10th as well. As far as shows go, however, Absinthe over at Caesar's is awesome!

What kind of prices are you seeing? The cheapest decent ones I see on mlife.com are like $87, but there are some options on Mirage's website. That and if you or your wife do the myVegas app game, you might be able to get some discounts through that.

Link to special offers on mirage.com for LOVE show

Hope this helps!

No doubt... I gave up on that and just gambled a little more!

My friend and his wife play it all the time and they get a few good things here and there.

We are going to be there from April 30 through May 4. The only prices I found were what Catman listed.

We went and saw LOVE and got tickets that day and even the lowest price tickets are good for that particular show. If I had to do it again I would have paid a little extra but the way they have that venue set up, all the tickets are decent seats.

I remember the good old days in Vegas. My parents took me in '84 when I turned 18, and I went a dozen times in the next 10 years. For shows, you just made a reservation. When you got there to be seated, you slipped the maitre d' a $10 or a $20 and he'd seat you right up against the stage or in a nice booth. Then one year we went and it had switched to a ticketmaster type thing. The old days were better. I remember going with my best friend (no homo) when we were 19 or 20, and we were sitting against the stage for Don Rickles. He made gay jokes about us. But after the show he came over and shook our hands. Funniest comedian I've ever seen to this day.

Good to know. We watched the promotional videos for all of the Cirque shows and Love was the only one that interested me. As much as I want my wife to see Absinthe, I don't feel like seeing it again when there are a bunch of other options.
