McConaughey? McConahaugh?

But, there, I said it. Haters gonna hate but with True Detective he has come out of the closet as one of the best actors out there today.

Don't get me wrong, he's had some crappy movies, but he has more than made up for that.

Angels in the Outfield foreshadowed what we are finally seeing.

Mud, Killer Joe, True Detective, Bernie, Lincoln Lawyer. I haven't seen The Wolf of Wall Street or Dallas Buyers Club. Bonus points also for How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days being one of the best chick flicks of all time.

He's been one of my favorite actors for a while, and am glad he's finally gotten out of chick flick hell.

I think anyone who saw A Time to Kill knew what McConaughey was capable of, he just chose to cash in while he was young and attractive and had no worries. Now he's choosing more challenging roles and we're seeing the acting chops we saw in A Time to Kill once again. He is legit.

I like this movie. I even like parts of Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, when hes being all "Hey Ladies, its Matthew.. heheheheh..."

But yes, the guy is very talented. Nice to have the flexibility to do roles to make you a ton of money so you can do roles you want to do/ roles that will challenge you later in your career.

Well I wasn't planning on starting a riot. But I also have never really heard anybody mention him as one of the best actors out there.

But looks like I haven't been paying much attention.

His 5 minute conversation in Wolf of Wallstreet was the best part of the entire movie.

It was great

Yeah I don't think many are gonna hate on this opinion. It's clearly true, or at least easily arguable.

Ive always like him even when he was making those shitty romcom's. Now he's finally starting to choose some interesting roles again. Props to him. Many people had written him off.

What about Frailty. With Bill Paxton and they kill people and bury them in the rose garden. He didn't have a huge role as most was set in his childhood. But he takes Powers Booth to the garden at the end and it is chilling him playing a....spoiler won't do it.
