If Drew Brees wins another Super Bowl does it mean Brees>Manning all-time?

Seeing as how playoff and Super Bowl success is what most people seem to be concerned about most when it comes to a QB's legacy, if Brees wins a second Super Bowl and Peyton Manning does not, does it mean Brees goes above Manning in the all-time best Quarterbacks list? Brees certainly has the numbers to hang with Manning in regular season stats.

Yes. 50k+ yards and 2 rings would put him in the Top 3-4 IMO.

Peyton has 42 more interceptions thrown than Brees.

Brees is going to have to learn how to throw a pass outside the Superdome before he can think about another superbowl.

Last time I checked its a team sport. Judging who is best all time is really difficult in football. They both would be on the short list

I love football.

But discussions like this make me glad the season is over.

He had a lot better game at Seattle than Peyton did last night. That said, I agree with your statement in general.

I love Brees as my teams QB but he isn't on the same level of QB discussion as Peyton Manning ever. Brees might crack top 5 QB discussion with another SB title

If Drew gets another ring he surpasses Manning.

It's all about championships.

I want slackhouse, Fox Mulder, boom roasted and co. to weigh in on this. They are Manning's harshest critics. I wonder what they have to say about this and if they think Brees is better than Manning just because he has an extra ring.

It should. If Brees plays at his current level for another 4-5yrs and adds another SB, then yes he would be Marino with SB titles.
