I follow a lot of bracketolgies and it's almost consensus last 4 in right now. All 11 or 12 seeds. Still work to do, but it's promising that we are already in the field so to speak.

We have NO room for error. If we lose to another team we should beat, we're done IMO

I agree with the majority of the article. Stanford is very beatable and I would love a rematch with memphis.

Getting to play the first two games in Orlando or San Antonio would be great as well as Memphis for potential sweet 16 and elite 8. Quite a tall order I know but all three of those are very much in driving distance.

yep, because the prediction of us getting in as 11/12 seed is based on us winning all the games that we should and that's a tall order with so many of them on the road. Throw out the record books when LSU basketball plays on the road, anytime against any team.

That loss to Alabama is looming big on the horizon. That is one we should have never lost!

no offense but this logic is faulty

If we lose we're not done, we're simply out of it at that point and would need an equally impressive victory to pull us back up to that point.

of course we have room for error. losing a bad game certainly hurts but do you think all of other teams on the bubble are just going out there and winning all of their winnable games as well? They arent.

I refuse to get my hopes up.

Been down this road too many times in the recent years.

However, this LSU team is more than capable of making a nice tourney appearance and run.

I hate comments like this. People post we have to beat all the teams we are supposed to beat and we also need another marquee win (UK and/or Florida). So basically LSU can't lose another game?

LSU has 10 games plus the SEC tourney. Finishing with 8 more wins total (maybe 7) should be plenty to get us in. We'll probably be "supposed" to win 7-8 of the remaining games. If we beat a team that we aren't supposed to, it will be fine if lose a game we shouldn't.

yes, a little too early for me. Right now, I enjoy watching this team play and keep their energy up. If they do that, and rip off another 3-4 wins in a row, I'll start to allow my hopes to do what they will.
