In your opinion, which music app is better? Spotify or Beats Music?

I've had Spotify for 1 year and I loved it. I recently downloaded the Beats Music app with the 7 day free trial and I'm slowly starting to enjoy it more than Spotify. Beats has thousands of pre-made playlist for every genre of music plus you have the ability to listen to all full albums just like Spotify.

Has anyone else given Beats a try?

Haven't tried beats but I like spotify so much that I pretty much try to sell it to people who don't have it

I've had spotify for over two years and have 35,000 songs and hundreds of my own playlist. I would give beats a shot but it would take way too much work on my part to get to where I'm at with spotify. I enjoy making my own playlist.

I haven't technically tried Beats, but my understanding is that it is based on the company's MOG platform. With that in mind, I would say that Spotify is better. The only reason I have ever used MOG is because it's the only one supported by the older Roku boxes.

Isn't Spotifys 'Browse' feature the same thing?

My one problem with Spotify is that you can't search for user made playlist on your phone.

I've perfected 20+ playlist on Spotify to my liking. I gave Beats a try because it free for a week (30 days for AT&T customers) and I enjoy it because it has some music that Spotify doesn't have plus they have pre-made playlist like the top 25 r&b, rock, or oldies etc. from every year.

Spotify has a bunch of LivePhish and all the Dick's picks so if beats didn't have that I would say Spotify is better.

What music does beats have that spotify doesn't? I personal don't need pre-made playlist because I like have control over what I listen to.

I agree. I love the playlist I've created on Spotify plus the sound quality seems better than Beats
