I'm just kind of starting out I've gotten three with the past year.

They are Remington Model 48, Winn Model 12, Browning "sweet 16" and Remington 1100.

I am looking for some pumps like and 870, Ithica and Browning BPS.

Nice collection. I want a Sweet Sixteen bad. I have two cheap old single shot 16s.

I have an 11-48 which is the cheaper newer version of the 48

I'm always amazed at how light and slender the old shotguns are.

I'd always said the 16 will come back, but I no longer think that's the case. Neat pieces of history..

I wish it would. There's no way I'd own a 12ga if the 16 enjoyed the popularity of the 20

I would rather squirrel or rabbit hunt with a 16 any day over a 12 or 20. Contrary to popular belief it's not that hard to find shells. I bought a case of #6s at Simmons a couple months ago. You can order online just about anything you want. I would love to have an O/U in 16ga.

I never have a problem finding fine shot. I just wish I could buy a brand new 870 wingmaster in 16ga, and get steel shot for it, and a wide selection of buckshot, and shells be as cheap as 20ga shells.

I also want to win the lottery. We can't always get what we want

I have the same setup except a Ithaca instead of the 48.

RST Shotgun Shells has a number of shells including some no-tox. They make a great shell, but I don't know if anything they have will cycle the A5.

Polywad has shells that will not cycle a auto

Fiocchi has some shells that will cycle, but not in no tox

B&P USA makes very good shells

Federal Shells has a steel shot

Able Ammo has a number of makers including Heavy Shot in 16 that should cycle the gun...

All that is great, but I want to be able to buy a brand new 870 wingmaster from 1970 with interchangable chokes and have the same ammo selection as 12ga

A 12ga is just too damn much.

Browning make a BPS with screw in chokes. Or you could send the barrel off and have them put in. I think I am gonna do it with the 1100 because it's a mod barrel.

My 11-48 is a 28" full choke. Absolutely will not jack with it because it was my pawpaw's gun and shoots buckshot like a dream.

It's a sweet arse gun. It weighs about as much as a popcorn fart. I wish I had a modified 20ga for dove/ducks/rabbits
