TCU just lost to Texas Tech to drop them to 0-8 in the Big XII
Under Trent Johnson TCU is now 2-25 against the Big XII
Two and Twenty-Five

Just move on man and let it go. What difference does it really make now?

Im trying to decide if this was the worst coach that's ever been "hired away" from us. Gotta be Top 3 minimum.

The Stanford fans tried to warn us. We thought they were crazy after CTJ won the SEC in his first year.
After the 2nd year I remember posting "It looks like we replaced a coach who could recruit but not coach with one who can coach but not recruit."
As it turned out, I was being too generous.

I remember people saying that Trent was a good coach in those years after the SEC title but he didn't have the horses. No. Trent is not a good coach in any sense of the word.

Trent was, in hindsight, one of the worst decisions we ever made on a hire. John Brady, admittedly, would have done about the same or better with that '09 team.
TCU was a good club when Billy Tubbs coached them. It's not like they are incapable of being a decent program. The problem is that they are in the WRONG conference when it comes to basketball.

And now a lot of fans want to fire CJJ every other week. Sh*t's ridiculous.

Fourth time in two years he's lost to Texas Tech.

Not really, some people overreact but the people who follow the team have never said that. He's 1.5 years in and clearly building a talented roster.

I used to get beat up on this board for saying he was not a good coach
Posted on 2/1/14 at 4:22 pm to Elleshoe
it's like he completely forgot how to coach. brent scott needs to GTFO of there and latch on with a legit squad IMO. dude is an up and comer.

Why start a thread shitting on him? He isn't our coach, didn't do anything particularly malevolent when he left. He's a person.

This. He was taken off our hands and was a nice guy by all accounts. He's still a D-1 head coach which is more than what posters on this board can claim. Leave him be.
