I don't get the point of driving to the gym and wasting an hour or two half assign it. I see this a lot. people get on an elliptical or stationary bike and literally have no resistance and aren't even sweating after half an hour.

I see people doing the lightest weights possible that clearly isn't going to cut it.

If all the half-assers would get out of the way it would be nice.

Making going to the gym a habit is almost as important as anything else. Sometimes I half arse it but its still better than doing nothing and getting comfortable NOT being at the gym.

They made a New Year's resolution. They'll be gone within the next month or so.

Well...at least they went. They could have spent that time on the couch posting on the OT and eating tater chips!

Recognize that some people could possibly see your routine and consider it half assing it compared to their workout.

Yea. Much worse than sitting at home on the computer and whining about it on a message board

So you watch their whole time at the gym?

How do you know that they aren't doing light cardio after doing lots of weight training?

Or that they didn't already do a tougher workout earlier that day?

I'm about to go half arse it with 10x2 of speed box squats at 185.

Followed by some heavy SLDL, some good mernins and some ab work.

You know you're completely free to work out at home. I do my weights at home for the exact reason you've described. I will get an elliptical machine in the future and opt of out dealing with people altogether.

However, bitching about it has done nothing for the decades the "true" workout people have been doing it.

Light a candle and calm down. Cursing the darkness only makes you look - douchey.

You should open up your own Globo Gym and you wont have to deal with that

Yeah the juice monkies with their gallon jugs of water and leaving heavy weights on everything without bothering to rerack them annoy me more than a normal person.
