If LSU lands Adoree Jackson on National Signing Day, does that start to solidify Patrick Peterson's spot next to Kevin Faulk as the most impactful players in LSU history from a recruiting standpoint?

The guy is idolized and respected by so many of his peers, veterans (Deion), and millions of high school players across the country. The guy had zero ties to Louisiana, yet may be the biggest ambassador of LSU football in the NFL today.

We are so blessed to have this guy as a Tiger.

Hands down favorite LSU player ever.

Had the swagger and had the skills, plus a class act.

Did he do something specific in regards to Adoree? Or is this just in general

I think you may have to add TM7 to this list. Think it's a coincidence LF wants to wear 7?

Just in general

without Patrick Peterson we are not DBU

if we are not DBU we never have a shot with Adoree

I know he's from St. Aug, but it's prob more to do with PP than TM

With TM being one of three finalist for Defensive Rookie of the Year...PP's nod will go even further. I hate we had to dismiss TM, but Miles prolly saved his career.

All the more reason why the LSU brand needs to be promoted even more to OOS recruits. So many of these OOS guys don't take LSU for granted.

This is a whole 'nother topic in itself. I think our fanbase is as much to blame as our coaching staff for the "fences being down." The fact that half the population of the state thinks Les is a joke and Saban is a god, these in-state recruits are exposed to that nauseating narrative all year long. Whether you or Pro or Anti-Les, the fact is everybody in the State has an opinion about him, and if they don't bleed purple and gold it's typically that he is an "idiot" and LSU win's in-spite of him because we have so much talent. That is coming from your Grandma, your Aunt, your Uncle, and everyone else when you live in this state.

Out of state recruits see a guy who loves his players and his players love to play for him. They see the mystique of Tiger Stadium, and ultimately they see that we put guys in the league, every single damn year.

Not a chance, TM7 is a hero to the youth of NOLA.

So Adoree would be coming to LSU just because PP played here?? Right... right. What happens if we dont land Adoree? Does that make PP less of an impactful player in the history of LSU from a recruiting standpoint? No. Not at all.

And DBU started with just PP7? Nope. He was 1 of the guys that helped us to become labeled as "DBU" but hes not the sole reason why. Corey Webster, Laron Landry, PP, Mo, TM, Ron Brooks, and Reid are the reasons why we are labeled as "DBU" right now. Its not just because of PP. He could very well go on to having the most success at the next level and he is a great person and ambassador for LSU, but Im not gonna say he is the main / only reason why we are DBU or why we get big time DB recruits. Hell most of our stud DBs are from Louisiana. We have an abundance of talent down here. And specifically at 2 positions... DL and DB.

Oh and the reason LF wants to be #7 is most likely because of TM. When TM was branded the nickname "The Honey Badger" LF tweeted out and said hes "The Cocoa Badger". Has known TM since they were kids and has always had a good relationship with TM. And grew up in the same neighborhood as TM. And TM is a legend / hero to the youth of NOLA.

Love PP and hes 1 of the finest player, person, and pro that LSU has ever sent out. And could be 1 of the best ambassadors for the LSU football program. But what happens with Adoree doesnt have that much to do with PP, considering I doubt he has ever met PP.

Now with Rashard Robinson, ill give PP credit considering hes known him since a kid and went to the same high school . Jamal Adams is committed here because of Ed Paris. Hell, the reason Tre White is here is most likely due to him being cousins with Morris Claiborne.
