Restructure or pay cut? Because if we are just handing him a bunch of money up front to put it on the back end then he would have no issue with that.
The real question is do the Saints want to touch his contract this year or try to wait until next year when it REALLY becomes an issue.

To the op: funny video. If Brees wants to take a pay cut to pay Jimmy or Jimmy can take less money that'd be great, but I can't justify breaking the bank for him. We need to fix our oline and sign some or our defensive players to long term deals.
Brees should just give him one of his jimmy john's to supplement his contact. Jimmy's Jimmy Johns. The marketing I'd already built in.

He can want whoever he wants. The only thing that matters is the almighty dollar. Brees should restructure his contract so he can have a formidable O-line and some threat in his receiving core
