NO SPOILERS AFTER AC:BROTHERHOOD PLEASE. SPOILERS PRE-REVELATIONS WELCOME.

I've played AC, AC2, and AC: Brotherhood all when they first came out, so it's been awhile and my memory is a little hazy.

I read the Wiki articles to recap the first three and it's pretty much what I remember, but in the first or second game weren't there hieroglyphics that unveiled a little extra? I remember them showing that Adam and Eve were basically synthetically created in a lab and had escaped with an Apple of Eden. Were there hieroglyphics in games 2 and Brotherhood? I can't remember, and I'm having trouble searching without stumbling upon spoilers from Revelations, 3, and Black Flag.

I remember at the end of 2 and Brotherhood he talked with some hologram that warned him of a natural disaster and then made him stab Lucy because she was supposedly working for the Templars.

Am I missing anything? Thanks.

I've heard Revelations is supposed to be a curveball, but with all that happened in the first three, I'm skeptical. Ready to get back into one of my favorite series.

Those glyphs were in AC2. I think it was the end of brotherhood when he stabs here. Those stories were always loosely tied so I think you have all the relevant information. Honestly, it made less and less sense as the series moved on. Don't be surprised if you don't enjoy revelations and 3, they just aren't that good.

I loved Revelations. Thought it was better than 2. The story is pretty straight forward although there is a part near the end that relates to the Adam and Eve stuff.

You are somewhat in luck. I actually just finished Brotherhood last night. Crazy timing for a game that came out years ago. I say somewhat, because I really have no idea what is going on. I started with AC3 and I never understood all the hate it got because I loved it, but now going back and playing 1, 2, and brotherhood, I get it a little more because 2 was incredible. So by comparison, it is inferior but I found it still really enjoyable.

In the end of brotherhood, he does talk to the hologram of Those Who Came Before Us. Basically they kind of explain that they made us in their image (adam and eve from the images in 2). Some of them and us got freaky and popped out humans with some extra powers (eagle vision) and they are the assassins. They (TWCBU) ended up dying off from a similar disaster that this coming they warn desmond about and they are trying to help save us from making the same mistakes they made. I had to read up on why desmond was forced to kill Lucy because that confused me. The explanation I read was that TWCBU want desmond to get with this girl (I think they call her girl 6, or his Eve, or something like that) who is also an assassin or has these specials powers so they can make a purer form TWCBU and is even more super duper. So they see this little attraction between Desmond and Lucy that has been forming as something getting in the way of Desmond getting with this other chick. So they take Lucy out. Not that she was a templar. Crazy Stuff.

There are holograms on buildings from 2 in Brotherhood too, but I've been putting off scanning all of them, so Ill have to get back to you about what they are all about or maybe someone else knows.

I've heard mixed reviews about Revelations, so I kind of want to skip it just so I can get to blackflag that I've been putting off till I finish all of these, but the completionist in me will probably trudge through it.

Once again they don't do a great job of story telling either in the Desmond story line or the assassin story line, so take everything I've said with a grain of salt. I am pretty confused, so could be wrong about a lot of this. I love this series though.

If you played 3 then you can handle revelations imo. Black Flag is irrelevant to the story line as far as i can tell, I'm almost finished with it.

I played like all the home console AC games one right after the other.

Still wondering how I did that.

Damn, I've played 2-4 all in the past year and I'm not sure how I got this far. That's a lot of AC.

I played all the main console ones from the original on. Revelations was pretty meh for me. It was hard for me to not finish it because I make it a point to finish my games but I became disinterested and eventually Black Flag came out (which is awesome BTW) so I just gave up on it.
