Have any of you done one of the riverboat dinner cruises on the Creole Queen or the Natchez out of NOLA? Is it a good time? Worth the money? Looking for something different to do for a nice dinner. As always, thanks for the input!

Cruise is fine. Food, not so much. Think bad Sysco quality steam table banquet fare, marked up in price. Eat dinner before the cruise.

That's what I was afraid of. May be better off spending $150 at a nice restaurant.

Open to anything. I was born and raised in NOLA, but had never done one of the riverboat dinner cruises. I figured it would be hotel banquet style food. Just looking for something romantic but not "touristy". I know NOLA has thousands of restaurants, so I didn't really narrow anything down....lol.
