Lets keep this thread for those of us who are interested in Spoilers or possible spoilers material.
Here goes:
I just read on IMDB that the actor who plays the disabled ex-LSU baseball player who was the uncle of Marie Fontenot, Danny Fontenot also plays another character in the series named "Guy Francis"...we have not seen "Guy Francis" yet but I believe he appears in episode 5 for the first time.
the actor himself posts on IMDB under the handle of "Angry Willard" Her is a post of his:

making of true detective
pause it at the 4:02 mark and we see 2012 RC and Hart in a room drinking beers together and looking at what appears to be case files of some kind.

I can't really say because I can't disclose anything about the show, I can only say my opinion on what's already aired, and even then I have to be careful what I say. I'm not even sure if I can discuss Guy Francis at all, so I won't. But I can tell you I play both characters because IMDB has already told you guys that. And thanks, not sure why they didn't get a disabled person either but I was glad to play the role anyway.

Go through the making of video and all of the trailers slowly. There is a quick shot of older balding woody what looks like holding a knife or something to someone . It's shot from behind the other persons head and you can't tell who it is but they have longer wavy hair...
Also another quick one shot from behind shows 2012 cohle walking into what looks like that old Christian school where the guy was mowing grass...it is dark and he is holding a gun up walking slowly and carefully and the room is full very creepy looking sticks .

So does this confirm that the detectives are going to interview Maggie in 2012?

one could surmise that.

Not really any big spoilers, but this is from this new interview.
"What can you reveal about episode four, which is airing on Sunday?
Episode four is the beginning of Act Two. Suddenly, the rhythm of the entire show changes. The slow part is over now. The first three episodes move at a very deliberate, almost funereal cadence, like you’re marching toward something. And what you’re marching toward is that final image in episode three.
Of Reggie Ledoux in his underwear.
Right. Then in episodes four, five, and six, the rhythm is much more varied. They’re like children. I love them all for different reasons. But five for me is like the most special of the children. Then seven and eight are the third act—and the less said about that, the better.
I will say this: if someone likes True Detective after three episodes, I can guarantee we didn’t drop the ball. And if you don’t like it based on the first three episodes, you should stop now. Plenty of other stuff on TV."

Maggie's interview
new video posted with a few new scenes. it has Maggie doing the narration talking about Marty and Rust.
A couple of interesting shots in this one. Rust sitting down having coffee at a diner with Maggie….Police Tape inside of a jail cell (does Charlie Lange die in his cell?)…Rust walking out of the police station with a bloody face…Marty in 2012 sitting in a room surrounded by evidence from the crime with a haunted confused look on his face….

who is this woman in the opening credits of TD?
Here is one possibility
Wanetah Walmsley
I think this might be her…listed on IMDB as playing the character of …..wait for it…
Marie Fontenot.
Very interesting that she may be still alive.

"When someone tells you the truth, it is their truth."
Final quote from Maggie in that trailer. That one is full of good shite.

I think this is fairly obvious…..Hinted at it majorly when he asked Rust if it was his fault then the detectives talked about it in the car.

"Memory is a slippery transaction. When someone is telling you the truth, it's there truth isn't it?"
Now we don't know what to believe.

Yes will be interesting to see in episode 6 what Maggie knows about rust and how she knows it. The episode description for 6 says Maggie sheds light on events that led to rust cohle leaving the force....
Episode 5 description says cohle and hart celebrate a solved case and detectives gilbough and papania reveal new intelligence
