Any suggestions?

Need to be there around noon time. I assume all the roads will be open by the afternoon, but not sure about the late morning.

I have made that trip dozens of times and this is the best route...just drive reasonably and things will be fine...

Yeah, that is the route I normally take. Just the question of which route might actually be open in the morning.

What does Airline become in NO, and what am I looking for to find the port?

well, I live in the Jackson area and the roads were fine this morning along 20 and down 55 to crystal springs...don't know any farther south than that, though....at least we know you will make it half way...

I travel back and fourth from NOLA all the time and go south from Rayville to Natchez and down 61!

If youre talking about the wharfs, just take 10 all the way to tchopotoulas and go south to the walmart. Take the hard curve to the left just before walmart and go into the port. If youre going on a cruise, the terminal is almost under the GNO bridge

I don't think this is as quick as I20 to I55. Going to Baton Rouge I think that way is quicker.
