Looks like the public dodged another bullet. Where do these cupcake terrorist come from?

Apparently finding themselves without any lemonade stands to demolish, health regulators in Illinois took the time to shut down an 11-year-old’s cupcake business.
On Sunday, an Illinois newspaper featured an inspiring story about Chloe Stirling, a local entrepreneur renowned for her masterfully decorated cupcakes. The Belleville News-Democrat reported that Chloe was saving money to one day start her own bakery, and has donated hundreds of cupcakes to cancer fundraisers.
Unfortunately, someone in government read the heart-warming article – and, naturally, set to work stepping on this 11-year-old’s dreams. The Madison County Health Department told Chloe that she needs to construct another kitchen in her family’s home. “A rule is a rule,” smirking department spokeswoman Amy Yeager told KMOV.

If she has a dog, she should be thankful they didn't shoot it.

The State has a responsibility to The People's health.
Why do you hate The People ?
And what kind of parent would allow a kid to do this anyway?
Have her parents been investigated?
Forward!

You are aware that MILLIONS of Americans DIE HORRIBLE EXCRUCIATING DEATHS* every year because of dangerous non-State-sanctioned and inspected food products?

What a fricking count

No.
There are no rules against her being a fricking count.

Yes of course we need these regulations and we need these people to protect us! Here my coworkers wife had to move the 40 pound fire extinguishers 9 inches lower so the pre K kids in her daycare type facility could get them off the wall and fight a fire if the kids had to. WTF 40 pound extinguisher and a 4 year old kid, the idiots are amzing.

The kid was obviously a menace and had to be stopped.

This is what you get when you put women in positions of authority.

You ever notice that female bureaucrats are almost always not hittable?
(I guess that's mean to say)

Yeager is the definition of a gov apparatchik. This food stuff to me is almost 1984-ish unbelievable...the fact that I can't make baked goods in my house and sell them to my neighbors without the gov getting involved is maddening....When I join the revolt that is just around the corner, according to the poliboard, this will be my reason.

Honestly, job creation is simple. Gov't forces us to purchase permits to do most jobs we are used to doing. For example:
-Must have a permit to operate a lawn mower
-Must have a permit to purchase and apply paint
-Must have a permit to plant or remove any plants
-Must have a permit to operate a sewing machine
-Must have a permit and 6 months of training to coach or offer advice to a little league baseball team (this applies to all sports)
-etc., etc.
We can go on and on. People want big gov't, they get intrusion into areas of their lives that have no business for gov't involvement. This may seem far-fetched, some of these examples, however, who would have thought 10 years ago that the gov't would require a permit for lemonade stands or home baked cakes and treats? Unemployment could be eliminated overnight if we required permits for those everyday jobs we take for granted.

When people ask how regulations limit economic growth, this is a nice little story.

Only to little insignificant people like this 11 year old girl. For folks like Obama...a rule is something that can be overlooked.

I bet a local bakery called the local officials to complain. That's what set this in motion.

I don't know. I'd like to punch 1 or 2.
