But turned it down. I am sure most schools recruiting against the Tigers claimed that Cameron would leave LSU after he got his first NFL OC offer. From what I have been told Cameron is being paid the same or more than what NFL OCs are making. But the college game offers better job stability. LINK

No. It's stated that. Cameron was officially offered today 01/29.

I assumed he was offered last week when the chatter came out. Either way very impressive on our behalf.

Lol! It looks great that LSU has a legitimate NFL OC that could be coaching in the NFL right now if he wanted to.

Probably not as hard as passing up coaching Fournette for three years

I'm glad he chose us over the Browns...a team who's owner is under federal investigation, and just fired the last coach after giving him all of a year to turn it around.

If Cleveland had a QB CCC would be gone, imo

Yeah, especially when the organization is a complete dumpster fire that fired their previous head coach after less than one year at the helm and that struggled to find individuals that would even interview for the head coaching position. I can't imagine the number of sleepness nights Cameron must have endured when deciding whether to stay at LSU or not.

If Cleveland had a QB their last HC would still be there, as would the OC ....

Camerban would rather be at LSU with Les over the play calls than in NFL Hell.

Y'all have to remember that he is probably a family man too. Think how hard it would be for his son to go to another high school. I'm pretty sure that weighed a lot in his decision to stay as well.
