Should I buy this rifle?

Been looking for a rifle. I found a Ruger M77 MKII (.30-06) for $500. It comes with a Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40. It looks really good. Of course, it's preowned.

actually that scope sells for $189 with the BDC , $169 with nikoplex retical
the rifle sells for $660 new
still a pretty good deal if OP wants a stainless Ruger -06

I've got that gun in 7 mag. Its not the smoothest action when loading a round, but it shoots well. I've gotten offers from friends for ~$500 without a scope several times and my gun's 12 years old. Everyone's impressed with the gun for the price

I have the same rifle in .270. Absolutely great rifle. The scope is crap but you would be getting a good gun at a good price.
