Strange Fish caught off Louisiana coast?

Saw a friend shared a picture from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Angler Education page about a strange fish caught off of the Louisiana coast. I had never seen it before and I knew someone on here would be able to identify it.

Sorry if Germans, I searched last 4 pages on this board.

Ah, yes, the Eelius Sailus Deathicus. I thought they went extinct in the 80's.

probably a cutlassfish or ribbonfish - not too rare in deep water - they were not fishin the ditches when they got that one
