Would you have watched a prequel to "Gone in Sixty Seconds"?

I sure as hell would have, I love that movie and a prequel could've been great.
Memphis Raines in his heyday would've been awesome to see. And I would be interested to see how he got out/how all his other crew ended up where they did.

Gone in 59 Seconds?

Sounds like a doozy of a movie.

Gi60s was so underwhelming . Only one real chase scene. Disappointing for a jerry Bruckheimer movie.

That actually would have been an interesting premise.

This is one of those times where the plot device of vaguely referring to past events to build backstory is dramatically more effective than fleshing them out.

Which is why I said sequel not explanation in the original...

No you didn't.

You said prequel.

Specifically:

quote:

Which is a lot of words meaning: fleshing out backstory.

Sorry prequel obviously.
What I mean is just because the original works well without fleshing out all the past stuff, that doesn't mean a sequel about the past stuff wouldn't be cool

I used to love cars a LOT when I was a youngster watching that movie, and it was so great for me. I'd watch a prequel in a heartbeat

Great idea for sure. Someone email the production company to get started on this.

Movie was legit. Jolie was sexy in that movie.
