When you live in a country in which the instrumentalities of the Nation-State itself are used to target, harass and torment political enemies of the administrators of the Nation-State . . .
What kind of country would you call that?

One where you become more and more paranoid. Probably the gayness of soldiers has rubbed off on you.

What's a bigger disservice, a government that prosecutes criminals under laws that were democratically established or a "news" network and its lemmings that falsely attribute nefarious motives to that government?

its called fascism. And its not a particularly new concept, the US gov't has been fascist since I was a kid. And will continue that way.

Venezuela?
To me it's all of this just points to an Obama 3rd term. He's just gonna seize control because nobody is going to stop him.

You seem to forget the stacks of reports that indicate Obama himself had illegal donations and incredibly shady fundraising.
The fact that the film maker is going to be indicted while a hypocrite sits in the oval office is a bit too much too take.
Obama's mendacity and lying is too much. An awful president, person, and leader.

But, Rex, what would you call a Government that indeed does prosecute some violators, but, on the other hand, when the "violator" is a political ally of the Government administrators, the Government does not prosecute? And assume we are talking about violation of the same laws.
What would you call that kind of country?

I'm just asking some thoughtful questions here. No need for you to demonstrate once again that you bring nothing to the table when it comes to thoughtful conversation, analysis and reasoning.

Good job on avoiding the question. You two sound like a press secretary for Obama.

Not to mention Eric Holder was the ramrod on Marc Rich's pardon by Clinton. Rich had been on the FBI's top ten most wanted list.

My questions have been completely theoretical. I am not making reference to the Nixon Admin, the Bush Admin or any other POTUS Administration.
Here's another question:
If I am a member of the Bull Mastiff political party and believe wholeheartedly in its platform, I will do all I can to support the Bull POTUS and the Bull FedGov.
What if my Bull Mastiff-run POTUS and Bull Mastiff-dominated FedGov begin to selectively investigate and prosecute some Rover Party advocates for the same crimes that Bull Mastiff Party members commit without consequence?
What kind of person does that make me, if I can see this with my own eyes, but defend that practice and attack those who complain?
What kind of person would be a shill for that kind of Government?

Or one where the government selectively prosecutes based on political leanings?
Just keep in mind, the liberals won't always be in power...

Considering our government is not a democracy, and democratically established laws are therefore invalid,I would say the former.

I would simply call it the Fourth Reich, and we are feeling the jack boots on our throats as was stated by a certain person.
