Federal review board says NSA sweep illegal/unconstitutional.
quote:

An independent board tasked with reviewing National Security Agency surveillance called Thursday for the government to end its mass data collection program and "purge" its files, declaring the program illegal in a major challenge to President Obama.

And to think... we would never have known without the courage and personal sacrifice of one Mr. Edward Snowden.

That'll never happen. Those data centers have to be used.

Snowden should work to get assurances on entry back into the country, and sue the federal goverment over the whistleblower act for being prosecuted by the government for exposing its illegal activities. I think it can certainly now be argued that he did what he did to expose the illegal activities of our own government as now we have serious challenges to the president and the NSA's activities.

Yeah, they'll "assure" him of his safety.

Then he'll mysteriously be struck by a bolt of lightning.

Catch my meaning?

Well....

I could have done my Matthew McConaughey impression:

quote:

"Allright... allright... allright!"

BTW - the media will do this:

Snowden is a hero.

Screw Rep. Peter King and his ilk. Screw any Government that is supposed to keep us safe...but won't PROFILE the types who are sure to hit us.

They abused their toy...and us...they lose it. Power corrupts. Are they any sane and honest and wise individuals left up there!

Ummm, don't you watch stuff like The Bourne movies? Don't you know that guys like Snowden just kinda, sorta' "disappear" whenever they have secrets? He did the right thing. His arse would be DEAD if he hadn't left the country.

I still think Snowden should have released his docs from the studio of a news station and done a Q&A until the black ops came to execute him.

Running made a few people question his integrity despite being an american hero.

Well, there are few things I've noticed. Seems Snowden is a true hero of freedom, but an enemy to the United States. I think that is an accurate, but scary assessment. Don't know about "enemy", but not friends, right now!!

Huge difference, there.

He is a true american hero, maybe in a way greater than some of the founding fathers for revealing the rank domestic spying that even the stasi could have only dreamed about.

I one day hope to read my personal file, just like the members of the East Germany could after the collapse.
