I have a new product idea based on the recent Knockout phenomenon. Basically it's a motorcycle helmet with a whole bunch of razor-sharp steel spikes affixed to it. The idea is if someone tries to land a punch, the assailant's hand will be impaled on the spikes and–hopefully–ground down into hamburger meat as the offender tries to free himself.

The helmet comes with a T-shirt, with the words "How 'bout a game of Knockout?" stenciled in large lettering on the backside of the shirt.

A clever buddy of mine says he can make a prototype, no sweat. As you can imagine, we're pretty excited about this, because we see some serious commercial potential here.

Thoughts?

Nice, but I'd prefer the ones playing this "game" play "Knockout" instead of their other game, "Knock up." Way less of a burden on taxpayers.

Just plant a microscopic badass bomb in the back of your head that will detonate when something applies a force grater than 50 psi to it. You'll blow the poor poor swimmers hand off as soon as it touches the back of your head.

Ah, we need some sort of decorative covering to conceal the spikes. Maybe something in a flower motif.

Because of the constant paranoia of getting knocked out, I've been wearing one of these anytime I go outside.

So far, so good.
