200+ on my old pair and I think it was well over retirement bc they straight up hurt now. Looking at kayano 19, kayano 20 and nimbus 14.

Opinions?

Depends on your height and weight and whether or not you tend to over-pronate.

6' 200
I lift in them too but use old shoes for leg days so there's not a crazy amount of pressure on them.

I am not competing, but I do run a lot. Those are the 3 I'm looking at so I'm just wanting advice/opinions on them.

I'm pretty sure I do over-pronate...

When I was looking, I heard very good things about the Nimbus, and I'm a bigger runner.

I only run in Nimbus. That being said, I am not a fan of the 14s. For lack of better terms, they are too squishy. I do not like the feel of the road when I run in them. I wish Asics would have never changed the 12s.

ETA: 6'2" 210. I need to lose weight.

I'm your size and wear cumulus it felt better for my foot shape. I would try them all on.

I'm 6'2" 240, medium arch, straight mechanics, run under 25 miles a week and love Kayano...i've worn my 19's out and absolutly loved them...I actually just ordered the 20's this past weekend. I used to be a New Balance fan but have made the switch with the 19's

Personally, I found the nimbus to be a bit heavy. Looked into the Kayanos, but couldn't justify the cost.

Bought a pair of Mizuno Wave Inspire 9s, and I really couldn't be more satisfied.

Yea, I over pronate and only got about 100 Miles on my nimbus. I'm at 70 Miles on my wave inspires with minimal wear on the soles. I tend to run/walk through the outside heal VERY quickly on all of my shoes.

I have extremely high arches so I have to tolerate the heaviness of the nimbus so I can have the extra cushion

Kayano

But it all depends on your pronation. Asics models are each built for a different foot type

Kayano and Nimbus are the same type of shoe - both are durable trainers. Just depends on your gait, size, and the arch of your foot as to which one is a better fit. A specialty running store will have employees who can tell you which shoe is appropriate depending on whether or not you need added stability or can wear a neutral shoe.
