How thrilled are the Refs/the NFL with Sherman?

The great pick and the ensuing interview (no matter which way you feel about it) has basically completely taken the heat off of them for the horrible game they called.
Marshawn's "ball don't lie" moment also helped...if he punches it in on that play then the entire post game discussion would be on how horrible the game was for the NFL
Hopefully we don't get a repeat in the Super Bowl (although it was Seattle that got fricked by the refs in their last Super Bowl)

I don't think the refs were that bad I am happy Lynch fumbled that ball, though.

The first 30 minutes of that game was unwatchable. Basically the officials let the defenses do anything they wanted, legal or illegal. Both teams' concept of "offense" was telling the QB to run around and not get sacked and maybe we'll get lucky and somebody will blow coverage or a huge lane will open up miraculously.
I like good defense, but it has been well-documented that the officials basically let the Seahawks secondary get away with holding receivers at the line of scrimmage. I am not a fan of that.

They certainly weren't good. I hate the 49ers more than anything and even I was going at some of the calls going against them

They were pretty bad. IMO the worst instance (besides the fumble debacle) was when Harbaugh had to throw a bitch fit to finally get the intentional grounding call in the 3rd quarter. The ball was at least 2 yards behind the LOS, it was not even close and it took them way too long to make the obvious call.

Running into the kicker was a cop-out too, should have definitely been roughin

If this is true, then you have to believe 100% that the Seahawks will get hosed in the Super Bowl.
The NFL loves Manning. He's the GOAT. He can strengthen his argument with a Super Bowl win. He can solidify it when he throws for 400+ against the best secondary in the league.
Refs will call a bunch of holding calls on Seattle.

Legion of Holding vs the Denver Pick Plays
How the refs call that part of the game will decide the superbowl

The first 30 minutes of that game were the most I've enjoyed the NFL all year.
