I got access to the Rookie-Sophomore game (which I may skip), the dunk and skills contests, and last but certainly not least the All Star Game itself

Time to show the NBA the best fans in the league

How did you secure those tickets? Have they even been offered to season ticket holders yet?

No more rookie-sophomore game I thought? Isn't it a combo of "rising stars" now?

My ticket rep called me Thursday or Friday about tickets becoming available to the game, but they are a little bit out of my price range.

The entire balcony is $500 a ticket for the game and $200 for the Dunk/3PT/Skills challenge. I'm gonna sit this one out.

The wedding during an all-star game is way worse.

Maybe for you. The All Star game is a fun exhibiton, but for me Jazz Fest is one of the greatest things about New Orleans.

I haven't looked at the schedule but I'd assume they just have the fan experience during the day. I am not sure if that is worth a trip. Most of the activites are geared towards kids. They do have a lot of meet & greets and autograph sessions if you are into that. My favorite part was the store. This was in 2008 before everything was available online and they had some really cool, exclusive gear.

Saturday night is the dunk contest and skills challenge. If you can go to that I definitely would. It is going to be fricking awesome.
